Show An appropriate Easter program was given Sunday morning. Howard How-ard Roundy talked on Easter and its meaning, and Pearl Hewley told the story of the dogwood tree. Fontella Skeem told an Easter story, Stella Hawley gave a reading, read-ing, and Voy Stewart gave a poem. Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Bishop sang a duet; Verdell Memmott and Calvin sang a duet, and Melvin Memmott sang a solo. Erma Roundy, Inga Mae Memmott, E-laine E-laine Stewart, Marilyn Stanworth and Claree Huff sang a song, Easter East-er Time. Wash Roundy returned home last Saturday afternoon after spending a week in Cal., caring for his bees. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop had as dinner guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Silberstein and daughter, Dorothy, from Sandy, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Bishop and son, James from Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Layton Bishop of Delta. Mrs. Lillian Roundy and small son Paul went to Salt Lake Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ivie, of Ely Nevada, are visiting this week in Delta and Oasis. Mrs. Ivie is the former Nelda Roundy. Mrs. Erma Cropper, stake R. S. board member, visited Relief Society Soc-iety Tuesday. Charlie Williams from Tooele, is here doing spring work on his farm. Mrs. Bob Robinson spent last week in Salt Lake. |
