Show Sutherland Plans Elance Festival The Sutherland elementary school is presenting its snrins dance festival on Friday, April 29 at 8 o'clock p.m. in the Sutherland Suther-land lunch room; Admission will be 50 cents a person. Every child in the school is participating par-ticipating in the dances, and the ladies chorus, Dora Rose,- Dale Bishop, Hazel Walker, Eleanor Roberts, Ro-berts, Eva Dean Moody, Delia J. Johnson and Nella Jackson, will present three numbers. The program will consist of the following dances: The Dicky Bird, Flower Garden, Mountain March, Glowworm, Conchita, Indian War Dance, Ace of Diamonds, Dutch Couples, Irish Lilt, Square Dance, Easter Parade, Foxtrot, Polka, Salute Sa-lute the Navy, Rustle of Spring, Novelty for Two, In Olden Days, Bubble Dance and v Finale. The program is under the direction direc-tion of Viola Chamberlain, who is also the accompanist. Other teachers teach-ers in the school who are in charge of decorating, stage management, programs, tickets, etc., are Oscar Soderquist, Florice Sanford and Eleanor Robers. Mr. George Chamberlain Cham-berlain will accompany several parts with his violin. |
