Show Truck Overturns And 3 Nickles Emerge Unhurt A few bruises were the only injuries in-juries received by James Nickle, and his wife, Arvetta Nickle, and small daugher, Kathleen, when their truck was completely overturned over-turned at 3 a.m. Wednesday. The accident occurred about 15 miles south of Beaver, as they were returning re-turning t'p Delta from California, where they had been since Friday. Jim was driving and the truck hit a soft shoulder, turning completely com-pletely over and landing on its wheels again. After a check of what damage had been done, the family drove on to Beaver where they stopped for a more thorough examination. Apparently the child was unhurt, and Mrs. Nickle had a few bruises. The truck was loaded with grain and feed buckets for a load of calves they had bought, that were following about two hours behind. be-hind. Also on the truck were a pair of peacocks, bought by L. N. Nickle in California. Now Nick will have to buy another pair, for a sack of grain fell on the birds, killing both of them. He has been wanting peacocks for a long time, too. |
