Show Gill Hilton Vins FFA District 7 Speech Contest The FFA public speaking contest con-test for District 7, was held at Hinckley on March 14. Gill Hilton representing the Delta chapter, was the winner. His talk was "Farmer Cooperative, An Opportunity or A Liability." Daryl Crooper, Hinckley, whose talk was. "Fire, A Foe To The Far-er," Far-er," was second. The entry from Beaver. Richard Tattersal, whose talk was, "Better Breeding Though Artificial Insemination," was 3rd. Other schools participating were Millard and Milford. The judges were Eldon Eliason, Verdell Bishop, and Ralph Crafts. Gill will represent this district in the state contest, which will he held Thursday March 31. at 7:30 p. m. After the contest a ban-nuet. ban-nuet. which was prepared by the Hinckley Home Ec. dept., was served ser-ved to the participants. Hinckley officers were in charge of the e-vent. |
