Miss Lola Prestwich on vacation vaca-tion from the hospital in Cedar City where she is a nurse, and Don Lamoreau, visited during the holidays with Miss Prestwich s mo-tner mo-tner mrs. Abbie Prestwich. They returned to Cedar City Monday. Mrs. Mable Chapman and sister, Miss Luetta Sampson, have returned return-ed to Salt Lake City after a visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs B F Sampson. Christmas day they were guests with the Sampson far. lily for dinner at the home Oi Mr. and Mrs. J. Layton Bishop. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Sampson and baby from Las Cruces, N. M., wore holiday visitors with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Sampson. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Partridge of Fillmore, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Partridge Part-ridge and sons, from Salt Lake City and Beth Partridge from Malad, Idaho, arrived in Delta Wednesday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Brown i Sanford. Friends of Carol Steele surprised her on Monday night with a party, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Steele, to celebrate her birthday. Games were enjoyed during the evening, and birthday I refreshments were served. Mr and Mrs. Arch Maxfield celebrated cele-brated Christmas vith all of their sons home, with the exception of Blair, who has been almost a year in England in the LDS mission. Kean was home from the BAC, Dwight from Tarreton, Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Garff Maxfield, from Wendover, Utah, and Thayne in Delta. Blair writes from England that he is thoroughly enjoying his work there. Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Juers, of Whittier, California, and Miss Lorraine Lor-raine Welton, of Ogden, spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Lester Les-ter Welton. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Beckstead had children home for the holidays, holi-days, with Louisa, from Salt Lake City, and Melvin, from Provo, here for Christmas Day. And on Saturday Satur-day and Sunday they were visited by Mr. and Mrs. Krit Petty and Mrs. Irene Sundell, and children, from Salt Lake City, and Louisa came again for those two days. Mr. adn Mrs. Eldon Eliason, and daughter, Jean, have returned from a Christmas visit in Salt Lake City with Mrs. Eliason's parents, Mr. land Mrs. Parnell Hinckley. |
