Show I LEAMINGTON .... Mr L Dutson I j The people around town' seem to be too busy to have any news this week. The Relief Society gave a party two weeks ago Tuesday. Rook was played. Mrs. Laura Nielson won first prize and Mrs. Emma Nielson won consolation prize. Othergames were played and a lovely luncheon i served. Names were drawn and ! each member exchanged a Christ mas gift. The Primary Officers and teachers teach-ers also gave a party for the Primary Pri-mary children. They also exchanged exchang-ed presents by drawing names. ! Games were played and refresh ments served. The speakers for Sunday night meeting, two weeks ago, were: brother Chandler and some of the i pupils from the Seminary class from the Delta High School. They I were Gil Hilton, Marlene Mills and 'Leda Bigelow. Songs were sung by Joyce and Shirlene Terry accompanied accomp-anied by Laurel Terry. The M. I. A. class sang Christmas carols. , A very fine program was put on by the school children from the elementary school and everyone enjoyed it. j The D. U. P. had a party in the ' Relief Society room two weeks ago. A very pleasant afternoon was enjoyed. en-joyed. A program was given, games played and refreshments served. Gordon Nielson, Grant Nielson and Kent Larson are home from the U. ofU. to spend the holidays. Mrs. Emma Nielson spent Xmas in Salt Lake City with her daughter, daugh-ter, Arvilla. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson spent Christmas in Salt Lake City with their daughter, Lois, and family fam-ily and son, Dene and wife. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Smith and Mrs. Slaughter were visitors in Leamington Leaming-ton two weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Peterson, from Scipio, were visitors two weeks ago, with their daughter, Helen, and son, Burton. |
