Mr. M. C. Dutson went to Salt Lake with them to spend Christmas day with his daughters, Verla and Dorthela and husbands. They visited with their mother in the hospital while there. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson went to Fillmore to spend Christmas with her relatives. Mr and Mrs. Jos. T. Finlmson and Mr. and Mrs. Riche Finlmson went to Salt Lake City for a couple coup-le of days last week, to visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. T. Fmlinson had as their guests on Christmas, Mr. and Mrs. Wea'gle, from Tooele and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Foy, from Panguitch, and Mrs. Fred Finlmson and children, from Murray; also Mr and Mrs. Riche Finlmson. Mr and Mrs. Charlie Williams spent Xmas in Fillmore with their son, Lee and wife. A Christmas program was enjoyed en-joyed on Xmas Eve and Santa Claus visited with all the little children and presented them all with a bag of candy and nuts. A dance was enjoyed the remainder of the evening. Mr. and Mrs. June Johnson, of Mr and Mrs. Wm. Bradfield entertained en-tertained at a delicious chicken supper last Saturday night.in honor of the older folks in town. A very pleasant evening was spent, ine early history of Leamington was the topic of the evening and many interesting tales were told among them. Those present were: Mr. ana Mrs. Jos. T. Finlinson and Jeff Fin-linson, Fin-linson, Mr. Alma Harder, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lovell, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Dutson, Dut-son, Mr. Sam Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Nielson, Mrs. August Nielson and Mrs. Joe Nielson, Mrs. Margaret Riche and Mrs. Josephine Johnson. Mr Floyd Bradfield called for the elders then took them home in his car. Mr. Jeff Finlinson seemed to have had a very enjoyable time as he had his two daughters home to spend Christmas day with him. They were Mr. and Mrs. Oborn, of Eureka, and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gardner and family, from Layton, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse from Lynndyl. They all enjoyed a turkey diner at Walker Finlinson's, also a dinner at Welby Finlinson's and a chicken supper at his home then later he attended attend-ed the party and chicken supper at the Wm. Bradfield home. So he was a very busy man on Christmas Dav- . Mr. LaForge Lovell, who is teaching teach-ing school in Washington, came by train to visit with his mother on Christmas Day and also to tend to some business here. His wife and children did not accompany him. Mr. James Greenleaf and wife and little son, from Clearfield, came to spend Christmas with her father, Mr. Sam Jensen, also her grandmother, Mrs. Mable Overson. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Chase and daughter, were guests at the Charlie Char-lie Williams home last Saturday. The district in which Elwood Dutson Dut-son and Kenneth Nielson are Ward Teachers, furnished the program for last Sunday night meeting, The talks were given, by Myrle Johnson, John-son, Louise Johnson and a song by Louise Bently. Myrle Johnson is spending the holidays with her parents. She is Sutherland, spent Christmas Day at her parents home in Leamington. Leaming-ton. Mrs. Emma Nielson went to Salt Lake City, to spend Christmas with her two daughters, Mrs. Barta Davis Dav-is and Arvilla Evans. k |
