Show Family Honors Mother On 70th Birthday Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Stapley had a family party on Monday night, with their children and families, to celebrate Mrs. Stapley's 70th birthday. The evening was spent at games, and birthday refreshments refresh-ments were served. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Eb Stapley, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Stapley, Mr. and Mrs. Park Stapley, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Bishop, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Callister, and all the grandchildren and Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Berry. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rodabaugh, of Caliente, are announcing the birth of a son, born there Dec. 24. He has two older brothers. His grandmother, Mrs. Sepha Robison, left Delta Friday for Caliente, to visit with the family several weeks. Bishop and Mrs. Romulus Shields and two sons visited in Jerome, Idaho, last week, with their three children and grandchildren there. They also saw Dee Green and wife there, who send greetings for a merry Christmas and happy New Year to all their old friends and neighbors iri the Delta country. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Swalberg have gone to southern California for the holidays. Fredrick Baker and Mrs. F. L. Baker spent several days, recently, in Salt Lake City. They brought Mr. Baker home from the hospital, where he had been for five weeks taking medical treatment. He is slowly improving. Lt. and Mrs. M. David Baker are spending the holidays with their parents, here and in Salt Lake City. They will return to Randolph Field, Texas on Jan. 3rd. Mr. and Mrs. June Black had as guests for the holidays, Mr. Black's mother, Mrs. A. C. Black and sister sis-ter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lewis of Salt Lake City. They drove to Delta Tuesday, and visited until Saturday noon. |
