A host of fi lends In Logan city were deeply pained to learn Wednesday evening that Mrs. Constance Thatch-er-Nlblcy had died in Passadena, California, Cali-fornia, that afternoon at t o'clock. Since the birth of her last child about one year ago, Mrs. Nlbley's health had been dcclinlngand to those in close touch with her, the death was not unexpected Most friends In Logan, howeer, had little knowledge that her passing was to come at such an early date and to their gilcf Is added add-ed the shock that such unthought of sorrow must alwas bring. Immediately after the mainage, Mr. and Mrs. Nlbley went to Pcriy, Oiegon. She was taken ill there and went to California for her health but seemed to derive little benefit. For months before her death she suffered fiom stomach ttouble, which linally ended in her death. Mis. Nlbley was a daughter of George W. and Luna Y. Thatcher of this city and when "Connie" Thatcher was one of this city's most lovable voung ladles, charming in appearance, ap-pearance, gracious in manner, cultured, cultur-ed, talented and witli friends numbered number-ed only by her acquaintances. She mar- lied Mr. Alex Nlbley, son of Mr. L'has. Niblei, about three yeais ago. and certainly no marriage hi this city In recent yeais seemed fraught with greater promises of happiness. Now the grim icaper who claims jouth and beauty as w ell as old age for his ov n has ended It all and brought the deepest grief and sorrow where It wis least expected a short time ago. This Is the second terrible grlct in the Thatcher familv in the past twovcars, Mr. George W. Thatchci, the father, passing away in that time also. Mrs. Nlbley was about 2.1 jcars of age at her death. Mrs. Luna Thatcher, the mother, with Alex Nlbley and other membeis of the family with the remains of Constance Nlbley aie expected to reach Logan today.
