Show I Mrs, Larsen.' JKtfC Funeral services over the lcmains of VI the late Mlna Skanchy-Larscn were H held in the Sixth ward meeting house H Sunday afternoon. Hlshop Lewis, H Frcs. Morrcll, John Hench and Hlshop H II. A. Hansen, spoke sympathetically H and ollered counsel to the large num- fll bcr piescnt to pay their last respect H to this estimable woman. jH Bishop Lewis spoke of the excellent B qualities of the deceased, and said that M tho trials which come before us from B day to day aie to purify us, that we B must bring ouisolvcs Into subjection B to the will of our Father in heaven if - we desire to obtain the blessings that are In store for the faithful. Prof. Foglcberg's class ,sang "The Mountain licit is Hinging. " Prcs. Joseph Morrell said that we aie called to pass thiough trials that wo may become more like our master, and spoke of Ills sufferings; how all His friends forsook Him In the hour of trial. He said that Sister Larsen was a child of God hecoujd tell by the excellent ex-cellent spirit which possessed her. John Bench spoke of the deceased as ono who had set a good cxamp'e for our young people; Ujc tonguo of slander sland-er had never reached her, but that she had always been spoken of as a good girl, a good woman and a good Latter-day Latter-day Saint."'" Mr. Bench quoted the 15th verso of tho llrtth Psalm.- Bishop Hansen said than It was natural na-tural that she sought after truth. He felt to sympathize with her husband and the family, also Bishop Skanchy, as it had been their lot to labor together to-gether since boyhood. He expressed the hope that wo would live as the deceased de-ceased has dene. The choir sang three appropiiate pieces and tho benediction was offered by Andreas Petersen. The grave was dedicated by F.
