On thnt dny a ory thick cloud of smoko almost descended to tho sea, nnd tho cinders thrown up extended to tho vlllngo of Leprechur, which Is on tho extreme- lino forming tho limit of tho territory dcwistntod during tho terrible outbreak of May, 1902, (resulting (result-ing In tho loss of nbout 10, 000 llvos), nnd then swept seawnrd nnd dlsnp penred. After thlB tho volcano again bc-cauio bc-cauio calm nnd remnlned so until tho night of Juno 10-11, during which tho domo wns lllumlnnted by numerous luminous points.
