Show Thatcher Stock Co. The Thatcher Stock Co. plays here tomorrow (Saturday) night, with a Saturday matinee, and goes to the Salt Lake theater for a three nights' engagement, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The company then comes back to Ogden for a two nights' stand and winds up the week in Salt Lake with "David Garrick." Miss Lottie Levy has arrived in Logan and tonight takes tho part In "Moths" that was originally allotted to her, that of Fuschia Leach. Tomorrow evening, Mrs. Thatcher will probably retire, her place being taken by Miss Ingraham. Tho Thatchers are but fairly well pleased with the patronage accorded the company so far, yet recognize re-cognize that the lateness of tho season may have had greatly to do with tho attendance. Every effort Is being made to bring the company to the highest standard of merit and various pleasing features have been added to the production. Miss Ingraham, who was oho of "Coriantons" most pleasing dancers, now introduces a Spanish dance, that comes in for great favor. Mr. Pcrclval, who has a cultivated voice of great sweetness and power, also favors the audience. In various ways the work of the artists has Improved Im-proved since the first night and the company Is now putting up a finished performance second to nothing that comes into this territory. It it said that in "David Garrick,' the company has a strong production, and it is confidently con-fidently expected that it will prove a great success. "Moths" will bo put on tho first three nights at Salt Lake and finally "David Garrick." The friends of tho company and Its backers will wish tho peoplo all tho success that could possibly bo their portion on the coming tour, and trust that they will return to Logan soon, for future performances. |
