Show . 1 B. Y. C. Notes. Wednesday evening the faculty turned out en masse to entertain Superintendent Cunimings of tho church schools, who has spent tho week visiting our school. Tho largo college dining room was crowded with people who, for a few hours, threw off pedagogical cares, and entered into tho spirit of tho occasion. Each one present wore n badge representing the title of some book nnd tho guessing guess-ing of the various titles furnished the principal amusement of the evening At 10:30 the games topped to give place to refreshments refresh-ments prepared by the domestic science department, but served by members of thu faculty, who drew unlucky numbers. Prof. D. C. Jcnson was especially corm plimented for the skill he manifested mani-fested in serving. Tho program closed with music by Professors Robinson and Smith, aud a humorous address by Superintendent Cunimings. Thursday morning Supt. Cum-mings Cum-mings addressed the students, dwelling principally on tho conditions con-ditions of church schools in general gen-eral and the atmosphero which should always attend such schools. He expressed himself as being highly pleased with the work done here. Last evening tho "Crimson" girls gave a Valentino dancing party in lliu gymnasium. Tho importance of the occasion brought a good crowd of lively people, who made tho evening a pleasant, one. Prof. C. II. Skidmoio will entertain en-tertain the advanced students at his homo this evening. Prof. Skidmoro's entertainments have begun to be looked upon as not only tho most pleasant but also the most important features in the lines of the college students which accounts for tho look of satisfaction on so many faces tho past few days. Pros. Stoddnrd, one. of the stako presidency of Union Stake, addressed tho students in chapel yesterday morning.
