Show Mendon Music. MENDON, Feb. 14. The Whitney orchestra went to Colllnston Wednesday Wednes-day to give a dance. Tho masquerade ball given in Richards Rich-ards hall last week was a success in every way, a great many coming from Colllnston, Fleldlpg.Logan and Wells-vllle. Wells-vllle. Lynn Longstroth and Adella Bird took the 15 prize. . Gospel meetings are held every night this week In the Presbyterian chapel. L. T. Pierce, of Salt Lake clty.spent a day with his sister last week. The Wellsvllle band came down and serenaded our town this week and was highly appreciated. Our home talent Is rehearsing with the Intention of putting a play on the, stage next week. James Whitney has gone to southern south-ern Utah selling horses. Teams are down from Wellsvllle nearly every day buying and hauling hay. Joseph Wood has gono to Coalville. Johnny Booth and Willis Morgan, of Colllnston, spent Sunday in Mendon. The Independent telephone Co. has put a telephone Into the residence of Marshall John Hughes. Tho homo of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Richards Is made happy over the arrival ar-rival of a fine boy. Myrl ITardman Is visiting a few days with relatives and friends at Colllnston. |
