A good many of the people aro busy at present ploying and sowing; and if fine weather continues all will bo busy in the field putting iu their crops. The health of the. people ns a general thing is good; still, we have n few who are sick. Brother Fred Wicrmnn has a little lit-tle girl quite sick, and several others have been bedfast for several sev-eral days with la grippe. Tho people of the ward were ticntcd to a spiritual fenst of good things n Sunday, March 30th, there being present Brother Ji. C. Fair nnd wife, J. Aiuleis Peterson reorganized reorganiz-ed the Eldets quorum which was formerly presided over by God-fried God-fried Beutlcr; the new president being Fred Wicrmnn, assisted by Willard Xynian nnd Edward Pal'-mer. Pal'-mer. Last Friday evening the Y. L. M. I. A. gave a leap year parly. The house was well filled, nnd an enjoyable time was had by all. Sinee our last writing John T. Caino, Eddie Anderson nnd Miss Thompson have visited our Sun-dn Sun-dn y School, giving instructive ntldt esses on tho general principles prin-ciples of the gospel, snowing up plainly and forcibly the benefits nnd blessings to be obtained by becoming interested while young in the great plan of salvation revealed re-vealed by tho Lord to his prophet. April 1st nil the members of the Relief Society carried out n grand surprise on their president, Susannah J. Smith, it being the good lady's 58th birthday. All laden down with the best mother earth can produce, they gathered at her home. Sister Smith soon realized what was meant, nnd nil proceeded to enjoy it to the limit. After the greetings were over the dishes begnn to rattle nnd about thirty sat dowu to a Brunei lunch. '' As u token of love and t esteem, fl Sister Smith wns presented with jH n lovely rocking chair. Mr. John Ferguson has gone to f Twin Falls, Idaho, for the sum- jJ Mr. Elijah Daniels nnd family, of Evanstou, "Wyo., have moved !M into tho ward nnd will make their M home here. H Mr. John R.
