Show ' --- jTiriBr im HELP THE JUVENILE BAND. The Juvenile 'band needs a little help. It is thoroughly organized and practice has been begun with a membership of twenty, but It is necessary to have an Instrumentation of twenty-live (and thirty would be better), if the band Is to be a genuinely tlrst-class article. There aro many boys anxious to play in the band, but they havo not the wherewithal to buy instruments, instru-ments, and the parents In most Instances are not woll ablo to do so; neither has tho Juvenile court funds to purchase Instruments. A donation dona-tion of any sort of Instrument or of money to buy an Instrument would bo greatly appreciated at this time. Costly Instruments are not being used, and money given would not be squandered. squand-ered. The Juvenile court ofllclals and Manager Lcchtcnberg have assurance of some excellent assistance once It Is demonstrated tho band Is . a real "go" and that tho people aro Interested, henco the anxiety to make a showing now. It might be worth while for the citizens generally to cost about a llttlo to see If there Is not somo way they can help me present situation without with-out serious Inconvenience. Let's boost the Juvenile band. |
