Show Board Names School Supt. A. Molyneaux, of Salt Lake. Other Notes. A. Molyneaux, of Salt Lake City, has been named Superintendent Superin-tendent of tho Logan City schools vice A. F. Cardon, resigned. Tho selection was made at a board meeting Tuesday night. Mr. Molyneaux comes recommended as an educator tif splendid attainments at-tainments and the board is confident con-fident that an efficient superintendent superin-tendent has been, secured. For four years ho was superintendent of the Grand County schools, then principal of 1iie Grand County high school two years. This past year Mr. Molyneaux has been at the head of the school at Sandy and his services were desired there again. He also had an opportunity op-portunity to take tho principal-ship principal-ship of one of tho Salt Lake city schools, but preferred to come here as superintendent. He is a man of perhaps 45 years or age and leaves the imprcssitki that his head is more than a hatrack, tho1 evidence of which tho public will bo glad to note as ho goes about his work, and appreciate proper- ly. At a recent meeting or the Board, Mr. George Harding, head of the Wellsville schools last year, was selected as principal of tho "Woodruff. Wm. Burr has been named janitor jan-itor at the Benson. Miss Rose Jones is tho now supervisor su-pervisor of primary grades. Examination of teachers will bo held on Sept. C. There aro but ilvo io take the examination, and these are to be examined only in I arithmetic and grammar. School begins Sept. 9th. |
