Show 7 Chas. Larson Dies Suddenly Remains Brought to Logan Lo-gan for Inicrrment. Charles Larson, fairly well known in Logan, died on a U. P. train out of Ogden Monday night and was buried in the Logan cemetery yesterday afternoon, following a service in the First Ward room of tho Tabernacle. Mr. Larson will be remembered as marrying Miss Minnie Skan-chy Skan-chy three or four years ago. His wife, died, and about five mouths ago he married Laura Walton, of Centcrville. They were living at Lyman, Wyoming,' where Mr. Larsen had a farm and an interest inter-est in a co-operativo store, and when he died they were en route to Salt Lake city to have an operation for appendicitis performed. per-formed. It seems that Mr. Larsen Lar-sen had undergone no less than four operations and some two or three months ago had a severe attack of sickness and set out for Salt Lake for treatment. He felt so much better on his jorney that when he arrived at the capital he decided not to submit to an opera tion at that time. The doctor told him that he would havo recurring re-curring attacks of the malady unless Ijjp did, and that death would ensue before' medical aid could be obtained. The doctor's forecast was only too true, for at 3 o'clock a. m., while on the way for treatmenr, the man died. The wife had the news withheld with-held from her until she reached Ogden. When she learned of tho real situation, her sorrow was indescribable. in-describable. The deceased leaves his wire, a small child by his first wifo that has been taken caro of by Mrs. James Quayle, Sr., his mother, moth-er, threo sisters and two brothers. When the remains were brcught to Logan they were taken to tho home of Mr. Quayle. The deceased deceas-ed was 32 years of ago at his death, and was a Latter-day Saint in good standing. |
