Show Hyde Park Pleasures Marriage of Mr. Croag, of Bloomington, and Bertie Anderson. Other Notes. HYDE PARK.June 10, There was a children's dance given In tho meeting meet-ing house Tuesday afternoon, Juno G. As It talncd most of the afternoon but few attended; another danco at night however, was well attended and a Jolly Jol-ly good time had by all. The samo evening, commencing at eight o'clock, there was a banquet for the 7th and 8th grade school children held In the school house, given by tho school teachers. The Ballam orchestra furnished furn-ished music for tho occasion. A short program, was carried out, after which all enjoyed themselves partaking of the bounties of the earth. Mr. Croag, of Bloomington, Idaho, and Miss Bertie Anderson, of the same place, weio united In marriage In the Logan temple last week. Mr. Croag, his mother, sister, wife, and wife's sister all came to Hyde Park Friday and had an enjoyable time visiting with their many friends here. Peter Croag Sr., father to the above mentioned men-tioned groom, was one of the pioneers of Hyde Park, having arrived here In 1800, his daughter, Mrs Greenhalgh, now of Logan Fifth ward, being tlie first person born In Hyde Park. Simpson li. Thurston came home a week ago today from Logan without being operated upon. At present tie Is feeling better, and It Is hoped that an operation will not be necessary. neces-sary. Sue! Lamb also came home last Sunday, and Is getting along tine. Robert Carvcr.of Trenton, has moved mov-ed his family over to Hyde Park, and will probably make this place his future fut-ure home. Mrs. Jemima Dairies Is back to her old home again after spending the school season in Logan, where her sons Franklin and Lyman attend school. George Recder, of Brlgham city, was visiting with his brother, Robert Heedcr,last week. Martin Woolf, of Cardston, Canada, came down and paid us a few days visit last week. Several Hyde Parkers went to Ogdcn Friday to celebrate ithhe U. C. T. Beet thlnlnng progresses nicely, when weather will permit. |
