Show PARAGONAH NEWS Burial was in Calit Mr. Michaeli had been a resident re-sident of Paragonah for a number num-ber of years and after his health failed his grandson came and took him to Ariz. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Barton are proud grandparents since Thursday morning when their son Robert and his wife of Cedar Ced-ar City had their first baby, a little girl, born in the Valley VUw Medical Center. Mrs. Edith Marsiny of Ogden is the great grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kobb are grandparents again with the arrival of a fine baby girl born to Mr. and Mrs. Danny Robb at the Valley View Medical Center. Cen-ter. This is the first child for Danny and Myrna. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Robinson of Rifle, Cclo. visited here from Sunday to Thursday with Mrs. Idella Robinson and other re-latives. re-latives. Rex was here to buy the Robinson's sheep herd and have it shipped to Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mortcnsen , and two children who have liv ed in Calit for a time visited here with the Clark Lamoreaux family during the week. They were in the process of moving to Tooele and left the children here for a few days while they found living accomodations. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edwards sons, Steven and Paul visited at the Chester Robinson home Friday. Steven was returning home from his mission to Canada Can-ada on that day. Miss Cathy Edwards and her cousin Cindy Robinson arrived later. Elder Edwards reported his mission in his ward in Cedar City Sunday and his grandparents grandpar-ents attended the meeting and a dinner at the Edwards home later. Other family members attended at-tended also, including Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Robinson and family fam-ily of Orem, who were here overnight Saturday and Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamoreaux and Mrs. Leora Ashton also of Orem who came for the weekend and remained re-mained fof the funeral service for Mr. Bernard Baldwin. Leland Lamoreaux of Ash Springs, Nev. joined the fam ily Sunday and visited here overnight also. -Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Limb, i daughter Lorraine and little J Brook visited at the James H. j Anderson home Saturday. ! Mrs. Mary Robinson has gone j to Briham City for a visit , with the Keith Peck family ; and will remain until after ' Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dalton spent some time in Las Vegas, recently re-cently with Mary's father, Mr. Parley Leavitt who passed away on Oct 31st and were to Mesquite for his funeral and burial on Nov. 3rd. Mr. Leavitt had been ill for a long time and was in a nursing nurs-ing home before he was hospitalized. hos-pitalized. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Davenport, Daven-port, Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson, Mrs. Bertha S. Top-ham, Top-ham, Mrs. Carmen Topham and Mrs. Walter Talbot were to Cedar City Saturday to attend the gathering held by the World War I Veterans to commemor-at commemor-at Veterans Day. They enjoyed a fine dinner and program at the North Elementary School. By Hilma Lamoreaux The Priesthood members of the ward enjoys d a fine dinner on Wednesday evening when the Melchezdik members treated treat-ed the boys to a fine ham meal. The affair was the culmination cul-mination of a contest to see which group participated more in changing sprinklers on the church farm. Mrs. Minta Row arrived home Monday following a month in Salt Lake City. She is to have two weeks or so break in her , radiation treatment before returning re-turning to the city to complete the series. She is able to be up and about some of the time. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Hills of Salt Lake City visited here over-I over-I night Friday with Mabel's son Antone and his family. They were enroute home from a trip to the Mesa, Ariz. Temple and other places. Mrs. Lucile Fife of Pomona, Calif, departed for her home Friday following a ten day stay here with he sisters, Mrs. Carmen Car-men Topham and Mrs. Eva Top-ham. Top-ham. Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot and Mrs. Hannah Robinson traveled to Salt Lake City on Friday to spend the weekend with relatives and to see the;r grandson, Curtis Talbot, who just returned from his missicn. Elder Talbot reported his mission mis-sion in Sunday Sacrament meeting. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards were saddened on Sunday when they received word of the death of their daughter, Mrs. Hazel D'Angelo, of Los Angeles. Mrs. D'Angelo suffered a kidney failure and had been hospitalized hospital-ized in critical condition for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards left Cedar City by plane Monday morning to travel to Los Angeles for the funeral. Belatedly we report the death of Mr. John Miehaeli who passed pas-sed away at Ajo, Ariz, recently. |
