Show Cedar students attend dance convention Saturday seven students of the Gaye Dance School in Cedar City traveled to Salt Lake City to attend Dance Educators of America dance convention at the Salt Palace. Owing to the heavy snow storm that hit the northern part of the state there was only one other student in attendance. The girls received individual instruction in tap from Benny Smith of San Jose, Calif, choreographer chore-ographer for the Miss America Beauty Pageant for the past five years. The students enjoyed every minute of Jazz instruction given by Gus Goranda of Chicago. Mr. Gordano's dance group was given rave reviews in Dance Magazine for their performing Jazz. He is in great demand at colleges and universities across the country. It is not likely that many students have been privileged to study in such a small class with Gus. Representing the Cedar City dance studio were JoAnne Rosenberg, Laura Barlow, Julie Rosenberg, Anita M a x f ield, Gaye Graf, Natalie Petty and Laurel Thurston. In"? ). i ATTEND DANCE CLINIC.
