Show KAMARRAVILLE NEWS NOTES By Carma Williams The ward held a supper Friday Fri-day evening in the Cultural Hall all proceeds went toward remodeling the Church. Mrs. Karla Davis of Cedar City is here spending three weeks with her mother, Alenna Berry. Karla is recuperating from major surgery. Miss Brenda Pollock of Enterprise En-terprise spent the week here with her friend, Lorraine Cornelius, Cor-nelius, and family. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams and family were Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Wil-liams Wil-liams of Los Angeles, Calif. They were on their honeymoon to Utah, Nevada and northern Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Pingel of St. G:orge spent tl.e day visiting visit-ing relatives ar.d friends. Garth Pollock, who has employment em-ployment in Las Vegas, spent the past week here with his wife and family. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Davis tluse past weeks were Mrs. Idona Stretone and son of Las Vegas; Lennis and Dick MacDonald and girls and Larry and Kathy Bullcch and daughter, daugh-ter, Diane Simkins of Murray. Mrs. Opal W illiams and Vaughn Vau-ghn Isom visited Saturday in St. George with Hettie Pollock. Michael Williams spent Saturday Sat-urday in Santa Clara with his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Blake and son. Michael and Ronald were hunting hunt-ing pheasants. Visiting with Mrs. Alenna Berry, Aloma and Scott, were Larry Owens of St. George and John Berry, Kendall Schopp-mann Schopp-mann and Kent Sullivan of Cedar Ce-dar City. Dr. Wilford Berry and friend from LaHabra, Calif, spent the weekend here working on his farm at Beryl and his ranch on Kanarra Mountain. Mrs. LouElla Hawkins returned re-turned home Friday after spending two weeks with her son and family, Howard Hawkins. Haw-kins. While there she visited San Francisco, Oakland and San Lorenzo, Calif. Lamond Parker visited Sat- crday with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ches-ter Williams and family. Mr. and Mrs. Verde Williams and family of Layton visited with their mother, Ethna Williams. Wil-liams. They brought their new son, Wells Kade, to see his grandmother. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sim mons of Wise came to see their granddaughter and family, Vickie and Mark Thompson an sons. |
