Show B.Baldwin succumbs; services held Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 12, for Bernard Baldwin, 78, who died Nov. 9 In the Valley View Medical Center of natural causes. Services Ser-vices were under the direction of Metcalf Southern Utah Mortuary. Mor-tuary. Born March 27, 1895, In Beaver, Beav-er, to Caleb Hyrum and Elizabeth Eliza-beth Cartwright Baldwin. He married Nettie L. Baldwin, October Oc-tober 15, 1919 in the St. George Temple. She died in 1972. He was a retired employee of U.S. Steel Company. He was a member mem-ber of the LDS Church, veteran of World War I, and a member nf the American Legion and World War I Veterans Barracks. Survivors include sons and laughters: Mrs. Scott (Alice) Batt, Melvin Baldwin, both of I'edar City; Mrs. LeLan (Marie) Gordon. Orem; Bernett Baldwin, Tooele. He was the grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 3.n. Burial was In the Paragonah Cemetery. Speakers at the services included in-cluded Margie Bess and Joseph A. Manzlone with remarks by Bishop Kent Stapley, who con-. con-. ducted. Family prayer was offered of-fered by Karnell Parry, invocation invoca-tion was by Lloyd Kenney, the benediction was by Furl Porter and the dedication of the grave ,vas by Clark Lamoreaux. Musical selections included a vocal solo, "A Perfect Day," by Christine Winterrose, accompanied accom-panied by Janet Knell; a vocal solo. "A Little Spot of Heaven," by Harold Butcher and selection by Butcher, "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine." Prelude and postlude music was by Linda Terry. |
