You are still able to collect from motorists who are at fault and do damage to your car after January 1, 1974, as property damage does not change under the new law. Utah is the 19th state in the nation to adopt a no-fault automobile insurance law. Beginning January 1, 1974, must have no-fault auto insurance in-surance and be able to prove every Utah automobile owner it if stopped by police for any reason. No-fault insurance is most commonly defined as an insurance in-surance coverage you can collect col-lect from your own Insurance company for your own injuries regardless of who was at fault In the accident.
