Show I l . i ; I I ' J j 11. J I CELEBRATE BIRTHDAYS. Henry C. Esplin and his j sister Mary (Mamie) Chamberlain recently celebrated their 95th and 93rd birthdays, respectively. Esplins celebrate birthdays December 13 was a special day In the lives of two south-em south-em Utah residents. It was their birthday. But what made it so special was that the two celebrating birthdays birth-days on that date were brother And sister and it was their 95th and 93rd birthday anniversary, respectively. Henry C Esplin of Cedar City, celebrated his 95th birthday December 13 and for the occasion occa-sion members of his family Joined with him to help mark the occasion. It was a quiet gathering. The sister, Mrs. Mary (Mamie) (Mam-ie) Chamberlain, was 93 on that date. She makes her home in Orderville, but later In the month was In Cedar City to Join with her brother. For Mr. Esplin, he has quite a posterity. Currently he has 10 living children, 37 grandchildren grand-children and at the last count 88 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Chamberlain has a son who resides in Georgia. The two are the last living members of their family that was the product of a plural marriage in Orderville. This past year has had some hew experiences for Mr. Esplin. Recently he was hospitalized for a week at the Valley View Medical Center. It wa the first time in his life that he had been confined to a hospital. |
