Show Paulina Lyman's activities portrayed in play , A play from 19th century wtah, 'Taulina's Babies Memories of a Mormon Midwife" Mid-wife" is the way a story of interest to Parowan readers begins In Sunday's Literature and Art section of the Salt Lake Tribune. The story goes on to say that the play was to be presented pre-sented at 8 p. m. in the Arena Are-na Theater, Harris Fine Arts Center, Brigham Young University, Uni-versity, Wednesday through Friday of this week. Admission Admis-sion is free. The story goes on to see that the director and playwright play-wright is Dr. Albert O. Mitch-elL Mitch-elL The play looks at the lives of some of the babies delivered deliver-ed by a Mormon midwife in Southern Utah during the late 19th century. Dr. Mitchell was one of the babies delivered by "Aunt Paulina," as she was called and he traveled to his hometown of Parowan to get ideas for stories used in the production. The cast Includes six BYU students Lee Russell, Iva Lou Redd, Sylvia Spicer, Bill Simon Si-mon Creede Lambard and Jackie Dom, who play multiple multi-ple roles. Int he production, a Reader's Theater presentation, each cast member reads two or three roles. t |
