Show Legislative report scheduled for L W V tonight Reports from members who attended the League Day at the Legislature will be heard ' (by members of the Cedar City League of Women Voters in their meeting slated this evening, ev-ening, Thursday, at the home of Mrs. Paul Beck, 113 Highland High-land Drive, The . meeting will togin at 8 p.m. Members of the Cedar City League were in attendance Wednesday where they were briefed by House and Senate leadership on the status of bills relating to League pro. grams. The special day also included tim,e for observation of the House and Senate deliberations. de-liberations. Governor Ramp-ton Ramp-ton addressed the groups, which included representation from seven leagues from all parts of the state. At tonight's meeting members mem-bers will participate in a discussion dis-cussion of' League programs, and strategy for supporting positions will be aired. All memlbers ar urged to attend since there are a number of program items that need membership understandin g , support and action. |
