Show Plans made to develop Camp for 4-H Club Temporary and long-range planning for the development of Webster's Flat on Cedar Mountain as a site (for. 4-H Club encampments were tentatively ten-tatively approved toy representatives repre-sentatives of the Extention Service, Iron County Commission, Commis-sion, Southern Utah State Col-lege, Col-lege, the Bureau of Land Management Man-agement and Dixie National Forest. Several alternatives for developments de-velopments were considered by the group after a presenta-tion presenta-tion made by Rollo Brunson of the Forest Service explaining explain-ing reasons why future encampments en-campments at Duck Creek Springs was no longer feasible. feas-ible. Plans for temporary facilities facili-ties for the 1973 encampments were discussed considering the need for the transporting of portable restroom facilities and acquisition of necessary water. Over the long range the group felt that the development develop-ment could look toward more permanent facilities with the possibility of special financing, financ-ing, possibly a federal appropriation appro-priation and other funds as needed. The meeting was held by the representative group in connection con-nection with the Iron County Commission meeting held early this month. by SUSC and feasible sites on BLM property.
