Show Four area men join U.S. Army Four Color Country Residents Resi-dents have enlifted in the United States Army. Army Recruiter, Re-cruiter, 99G Frank E. Stastny, furnished the following information infor-mation about the men. Paul Wesley White, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer White elf Cedar City, selected an assignment as-signment to the United States Army Security Agency. He will receive training in Intercept Electronic Equipment Maintenance. Main-tenance. Paul is a 1972 graduate of SUSC and has been working in the Cedar City area prior to his enlistment. He has also served an LDS Mission in England in 1967. Ricky Demont Excelil, son of Mr. and Mrs. Demont Excell cf Springdale, enlisted for the Training Travel Option. This guarantees two items. One is to receive his choice of training in Combat Engineers. En-gineers. The second portion ls to receive a direct assignment to Europe for a 16 month minimum tour. Ricky has intentions in-tentions of visiting as many countries as he can while he's serving with the Army in Eurcpe. Frank Anthony Lopez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Lopez df Caliente, Nev. chose the Unit of Choice Option. This will send him to Ft. Hood, Texas assigned to the 2nd Armored Division for a minimum period of 16 months. He selected to be trained as a Truckmaster. Frank is a 1971 graduate of Lincoln County High School and has been working for the Union Pacific Railroad prior to his entry in the Army, Frank Clifford Hulse, son of Mr. and Mrs. James G. Hulse of Panaca, Nev. enlisted In the Regular Army for a two year period. With this option there are no guarantees of assignments assign-ments or occupations, but he will be receiving his GI Bill and VA benefits. Frank is a 1970 graduate of Lincoln County High School and also a 1972 graduate of Dixie College. Col-lege. He has been employed by the Kennecott Coproer Corporation Corp-oration prior to his enlistment SSG Stastny said that all the men will receive basic training at Fort Ord, Calif.
