Bids wero also submitted by Trl Stato Motors of Cedar City. Authorization was also Riven Riv-en for the purchase of a Jeep for the purpose of providing more ailquatc snow removal. Present equipment has been Inadequate to handle the snow removal this season, It was reported by Superintendent Superintend-ent Clair Morris. The Jwp, purchased at a cost of $3,000 will have a blade attached to handle the problems for the remainder of tho season. Trips were also approved by the Board. Parowan High School band was authorized to attend and participate In the Utah State University Band Invitational to b,e held at LO' gan March 21, The Cedar High School Vocational Vo-cational Automotive students were also authorized to make a field trip to southern California Cali-fornia March 23 through 26. Personnel appointments were also approved by the Board. Suzanne C. Morris was approved, ap-proved, on a temporary basis, to teach business education at Cedar High School. Prior approval has been given for Joan Decker to assume the position at the beginning of the next sichool year. Jolene Sorenson was approved ap-proved to teach kindergarten and serve as librarian at Parowan Par-owan Elementary for the 1973-74 1973-74 school year.
