MIC KELSON Final rites held in Parowan for Beatrice Mickelson Beatrice Hulct Mickelson, age 63 died Sunday Feb. 17, at the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City. Mrs. Mickelson was born July 20, 1910 to R. Wallace and Sara Stevens in Parowan. She was the oldest of nine children; Rupert, Ralph, Carlyle, Jay, Herb, Ruby, Evelyn and Elliott. She married Jesse Meeks Mickelson, June 25, 1934 in St. Anthony, Idaho after which they made their home in Parowan. She is survived by her husband, mother, five brothers and two sisters. Also her three children, Jesse H., Murray; Virginia Brown, St. George and Joseph H., Fountain Valley, California. She is also survived by seven grandchildren. grand-children. Beatrice was a member of the LDS church w here she was active in various organizations. Funeral services were held Wed. Feb. 20, in the Parowan Third Ward Chapel. The family prayer was given by Ralph Hulet. Invocation by Rupert Hulet.and Bishop Boyd Mitchell conducted the services. A personal history was given by Richard Mickelson (a grandson). grand-son). Howard Joseph and J. Harold Mitchell were the speakers. A musical number was played by Claudia Ward. Benediction was by Carlyle S. Hulet; graveside prayer by Jesse H. Mickelson. Burial was in the Parowan City Cemetery. I |
