Senate offices from the various Student elections at SUSC in full swing Senate offices from the various schools are sought by: Von Gillies, Beaver; Kay Meacham, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Sarah Jane Peterson, Mt. Pleasant, and Ted Woolston, Logandale, Nev., all representing the School of Arts and Letters. Bill Peterson, Pleasant Grove, and Helen Alvey, Escalante, are competing for the office of senator from the School of Business, Technology, and Aerospace Aero-space Studies. The School of Education senatorship will go to Tona Lytle, Pioche, Nev.; Cheryl Eyraud, Caliente, Nev.; Arnold Francis, Tustin, Calif.; or Steve Kittle, Goleta, Calif. Jimmy Akpan, Nigeria, or Roy Poppy, Philipsburg, N. J., will represent the School of Science. Eric Marchant, Cedar City, and Dave Sargent, Magna, are seeking the office of Associated Men Students senator. Elections chairman is Ellen Whiting, Cedar City. Thirty-two Southern Utah State College students will vie for 1974-75 1974-75 student body offices at final elections Friday, Feb. 22. The candidates were selected in primary balloting at the college Feb. 15. Tim Anderson, Salt Lake City, and Dave Taylor, Magna, are finalists for the office of student body president. Competing for the position of vice president are Mike Anderson, An-derson, Salt Lake City, and Drew Hansen, Granger. Robin Haight, Cedar City, and Rick Patten, Springville, are seeking the office of attorney general. Running for Student Senate positions are: Bob Burns, Cedar City; and Frank LaRussa, Los Angeles, Calif., senior male senator; Debbie McBeth, Tooele, and Lorraine Bills, La Mirada, Calif., senior female senator; Rick Phillips, Caliente, Nev. and Layne Moody, Delta, junior male senator; Lee Peterson, Cedar City, and Gene Geiger, Salt Lake City, sophomore male senator; Becky Rounds, Ogden, and Annette Gardner, West Jordan, Sophomore female senator. |
