Show Booth, Sands recite wedding vows the country's host in the sponsoring spon-soring foundation's yearbook, a "Who's Who" in elementary education. Five teachers, nationwide, nation-wide, will be selected from among the finalists. Ned has served as a commissioned com-missioned officer in the U. S. Navy and just recently received his Master's Degree in Public Administration at the University of Southern California. NED RICHARD SANDS Mr. and Mrs. Koscoe G. Booth (Afton Jeanne Gurr) former Cedar City residents and now of Boise, Idaho announce the marriage of their daughter, Durinda, to Ned Richard Sands II of Los Angeles, Calif. Their marriage was solomnized in the Logan LDS Temple on July 26. After the marriage ceremony a buffet luncheon was served to members of the wedding party and guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Rogers, cousins of the groom, in Logan, Utah. An outdoor wedding reception was held at the home of the bride's parents in Boise, Idaho on July 27. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Ned R. Sands of Escondido, Calif. Durinda is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mattie Booth and niece of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan B. Orton all of Cedar City, Utah. Durinda has been teaching at Stonegate Elementary School in San Jose, Calif, and was recently named a finalist by outstanding elementary teachers of America for 1974. She will be listed with |
