A highly successful 4-H camp was held earlier this summer at Deer Haven Campground located at Webster's Flat. There was a division in the camp with the younger group, consisting of 4-H members between the ages of 9 and 11, holding their camp the first part of the week and the older group, members 12 years and older, meeting the latter part of the week. Mark Judd was chosen mayor of the first camp with Susan Forsyth as mayorette. Other officers were: Natalie Petty, , scribe; Judy Webb, Chief of ' ' police; Trudy Snyder, reporter; and Kathy Jones, medic, Awards were as follows: Log Sawing - 1st Beverly Schoppman and Carolyn Cox, 2nd Jackie Adams and Susan Imlay, 3rd Jolyn Spencer and Joleen Munson, Honorable Mention -Stacy Brown and Annette Gardner. Other officers were: Giana Graff, secretary; Ronald Esplin and Elaine Burton, chief of police; Debra Robinson, song leader; Russell Beatty, reporter, Eric Schmutz, program chairman; chair-man; Brenda Palmer, recreation chairman; Laura Lee Bryant, health chairman; Suann Adams, camp identification, Lori Webb, personal identification; Jana Maxwell, arts and crafts chairman; and Evan Matheson, clean camp chairman.
