Member American Ameri-can Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife of Cedar City, two daughters, Marian Arns of Cedar City, Mrs. William L. (Evelyn) Dunn of Santa Anna, Calif. Also surviving surviv-ing are 2 grandchildren; 1 sister sis-ter Alice Lehner of Ridgefield, Wash, and 2 brothers, Vernon Ams of Palmsprings, Calif, and Howard L. Arns of Cedar City. Internment will be In th Cedar Ced-ar City Cemetery with World War I and BPOE Lodge No. 1556 graveside services. Melville D. Arns succumbs; services to be held today I w Funeral services for Melville Darwin Arns age 78 will be held Thursday July 26, at 1:00 PAL in the Cedar 2nd Ward Chapel Friends may call at the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until time of services. Arns died July 22, at his Mountain Cabin of Natural Causes. He was born Sept 24, 1894 in Bristol, Iowa to William C. and Flora Sturdevant Arns. He married Veilla Bastlan August Aug-ust 28, 1924 in St George. Mr. Ams was an Auto Mechanic Me-chanic in Cedar City for the majority of his life. Charter member of the BPOE Lodge No. 155a Charter member of World War I Veterans and has held MELVILLE J. ARNS |
