Show PHS class of 1943 enjoy reunion events The class of 1943 enjoyed a highly successful and enpoy-able enpoy-able 30 year reunion at Brian, head recently. The evening featured a steak dinner with lots of visiting and "catching up" on old friends. Messages were sent by several class members who were unable to attend and those present took turns telling about their ac-tiviies, ac-tiviies, Jobs, families, children and grandchildren. Especially appreciated was Mrs. Vyonne Chamberlain who played many beautiful "old songs" that were meaningful to the class. Class members present at the reunion included includ-ed the four couples who mar. ried within the class. These, were Raymond and Betty Burton Bur-ton Wiltsey of Ontario, Calif.; Victor and Rev a Robinson" Matheson of Cedar City How ard and Dixie Edwards Top-ham Top-ham of Paragonah and Norman Nor-man and Nona Robinson Har. ris of Salt Lake City. Also present from Salt Lake City was Ralph Bayles and Mary Lou Joseph Hatch and their partners. Lucille Robinson Robin-son Conder and husband came from Magna. From Bountiful Ileta Renson Knppht? frnm Sandy Rulon Paramore and his wife. Class members were especially pleased to greet Boyd Morris and Lennie Page Jones who were able to attend a 1943 class reunion for the first time. Boyd lives in Rigby Idaho and Lennie is presently moving to Overton, Nev. from Las Vegas. Also commended for coming such a d istance was Elsie Mickelson Ahlstrom and her husband who live in Los Alamitos, Calif. Class members from Parowan Paro-wan and Cedar City area included in-cluded Jay Don Alger, Veda Taylor Matheson, Hal Orton, Robert Rowley, Louise Hatch Robinson, William Williamson and partners. As so many class members are located in the northern part of the state, the 35th class reunion re-union was assigned to those class members with the com. mittee being headed by Norman Nor-man Harris. An interesting note was that after a close check it was determined de-termined that all members of this class are still living. |
