Show Students at SUSC recite wedding vows in Salt Lake Temple rites lace and seed pearls. The sleeves were wrist length and her waist length veil of brides Illusion was caught to a pearl-embroidered flower head band. She carried a bouquet of Miss Susan Rasmussen and Mark Russell were married June 5 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. President John K. Edmunds pfficiated. Miss Rasmussen Is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken D. Rasmussen, Salt Lake City. Mr. Russell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Russell, Rockford, 111. Following the cremony, a wedding breakfast was, hosted by the groom's parents at the Panorama Inn. A reception was held that evening at the Shalamal. The bride wore an original gown designed with a full, floor-length skirt, trimmed with lace and seed pearls. The fitted bodice had an overlay of lace with a mandain collar which was also enhanced with white rose buds, baby breath, white carnations and gardenias. Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Gay Rockich. Bridesmaids Brides-maids were Dixie Adams, Jackie Noyes, Diane Russell and Susan Child. Flower girls were Janice and Jill Rasmussen. The attendants were gowned in separate colors of pink, green and yellow, and carried a nosegay nose-gay of matching colored flowers. flow-ers. Performing duties as best man was Kent Russell, brother of the groom. Ushers were Ken and Phil Rasmussen, brothers of the bride, and were assisted by Jeff and Greg Rasmussen. The refreshment tables were centered with large floral arrangements ar-rangements similar to those carried car-ried by the bridesmaids. Assisting Assist-ing with the serving were Sheryl Williams, Joan Anderson, Pauline Paul-ine Washburn, Vickie Raines and Connie Jean Hellstrom. Susan is a senior at SUSC majoring in English. She was a flagtwirler, a member of the A Capella Choir, and active in the Community Theatre. She Is presently employed as a secretary secre-tary at the Valley View Medical Medi-cal Center. Mark is also a senior at SU-, SU-, SC majoring In Business Ad-ministration Ad-ministration and is currently serving as Attorney General at the college. He served in the Texas South LDS Mission, and Is also a member of the SUSC A Capella Choir. He Is employ-ed employ-ed by the Coleman Company. The young couple honeymooned honey-mooned In southern Idaho and plan to visit Illinois for an open house later this summer. MR. AND MRS. MARK RUSSELL |
