Show Celebrate Halloween Octobet 29th Halloween, October 31st falls on Sunday this year. Schools in Iron County have Iron County PTA Council, Iron County School Board, and iron County Youth Coordinating Council recommend and strongly urge that all children in Iron County celebrate Halloween on Friday, October 29th. The traditional day for celebrating planned special events to commemorate the Halloween Holiday on Friday, the 29th of October and Iron County children are encouraged to attend at-tend the school events as well as participate in any of the traditional "trick or treating" activities under the direction of their parents in their own neighborhoods neigh-borhoods on that Friday evening. For the safety and enjoyment for children and youth, parent and school groups felt coordination coor-dination of this activity was important because Halloween involves "midnight movies," family movies in the schools, visits of young "goblins and ghosts" out after dark begging for treats as well as several fun carnivals and parties at the various elementary and junior and senior high schools. |
