Show Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Dalley before going to Parowan to spend some time with Mrs. Dalley's parents Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Halter-man. Mr. and Mrs. Darryl Davenport and family enjoyed en-joyed a visit from Vergeania's folks. Mr. and Mrs. Vergean Porter and Clint of Escalante on Saturday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Randy Crofts and two daughters of Mesa, Arizona spent part of their vacation here as guests of Mr. and Mrs. ,Lo Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley traveled to Fillmore Wednesday Wed-nesday to spend the rest of the week with their daughter and family the Scott Mun-sons. Mun-sons. Mrs. Albert Mitchell of Provo was a recent visitor at the home of her brother and family, the Bertrand Dalleys. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Farrow were in Provo and Salt Lake City last week for an overnight stay Mr. and Mrs. Ricke Edwards Ed-wards and three children of Greenville arrived here Friday for a Mother's Day visit with Mrs. Helen Richards and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. Sunday visitors at the Jay Davenport home were Mr. and Mrs. Kay Smith and granddaughter Hillery of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Dalley and new baby daughter visited briefly Tuesday with the proud new grandparents Ji Summit Donna Davenport Sunday May 1 was a big day in the lives of four young children of our Ward and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bowler had their baby son blessed and given the name of Jared Wayne. Here for this special event was his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Farris M. Evans of Parowan and Mr. and Mrs. Quenton Bowler and Uncle Dennis Bowler of Beryl. An Aunt Gail Fowler and cousin Doug Fowler. After church they all met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bowler for a very enjoyable dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rowley also had their young son blessed and given the name of Benjamin Hyatt, and their daughter Angela was confirmed a member of the church. Here for this special occasion was grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Rowley and Uncles and Aunts Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Rowley and family and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Potter and daughters all of Parowan, Herbie White was baptized Saturday evening with all of his family together for this event and a special candle light dinner following at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Dee White. Here from out of town was his brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Keith Fenstermaker of Provo who made the trip by airplane. Herbie was also confirmed on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Humpherys are enjoying a ten days visit from their young grandson Shawn Woodard of Salt Lake City. Other recent visitors at the ' Humpherys home was Mr. Humpherys sister June and brother-in-law Ronald Hatfield of Logan. Mr. Raymond Farrow underwent hip surgery in St. George Monday May 2 and is making a good recovery. Mrs. Farrow is spending most of her time with him at the hospital. He has had both hips operated on in the past two months. Mrs. Dee El Stapley was released from the Valley View Medical Center on Tuesday following surgery and her mother, Mrs. Viola Nielsen of Murray is here helping care for the family. Mrs. Dannie Condie and Mrs. Rodger Morton took their Cub Scouts to Cedar City Saturday for the Scout-O-Rama. |
