A ; kitchen shower was given by the bride's sister, Mrs. Daniel Harris, at which a quilt was tied. The young couple will make their home , in Mid-valley. PAUOWAN - A large crowd of relatives and friends greeted newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Lee Pace at a reception held in their honor at the Parowan lst-2nd Ward Cultural Hall Saturday, April 16. The room was decorated in a western ranch style, done by members of the bride's family, assisted by Sonja Orton. The event was hosted by the bride's mother, Mrs. Hugh LeRoy Adams of Parowan. The parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pace of MidValley. The young couple were honored at a dinner that afternoon at the Sugar Loaf Cafe with the groom's parents as hosts. The bride was lovely in a gown of ivory Quiana fashioned with a lace trimmed yoke and stand-up collar with sheer gathwecl trim. The long gathered sleeves had deep cuffs trimmed with pearl buttons and the long gored skirt was finished with a wide ruffle topped with pearl-trimmed lace, a wide sheer sash and detachable train. The dress was made by the bride's sister, Mrs. Kelby Hughes. A fingertip veil was attached to a narrow band of fresh flowers. Her cascade bridal bouquet, created by Beulah Jones, was made up of miniature orange and yellow roses, white carnations and baby breath. The beautiful 5-tiered wedding cake was made and decorated by the bride's sister, Mrs. Daniel Harris. Attending the bride were Mrs. Kelby Hughes, Matron of Honor, Mrs. DaoitJ Harris, sisters of the brice Mrs. Ted Ke,lsey, Mrs. Robert Albrecht, and Miss Helen Pace, sisters of the groom, and Miss Julie Bentley. Flower girls were nieces of the bride and groom. Attendants all wore floor-length cotton seer-sucher seer-sucher dresses with bright stripes in beautiful spring colors. They carried straw hat-shaped baskets of yellow daisies, orange dried tlowers and baby breath. Standing as best man was Jojin Pace, brother of the groom. Ushers were brothers and brothers-in-law of the bride and groom and nephews of the groom. Mothers of the bride and groom wore floor-length dresses of green seersucker with corsages of yellow roses, daisies, and miniature carnations. The bride's grandmother, Mrs. Hugh L. Adams, was a special guest of honor. Greeting guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. George Halterman. DeAnn Stapley and Mrs. Gary Lamoreaux were at the guest book, while Jeanne Jerome and Mrs. Bruce Jensen assisted at the gift table. Music for the evening was furnished by Mrs. Kay Chamberlain.
