Show Harrigan dies; services held Saturday Priscilla Hyatt Skougard Harrigan 81, died March 9, 1978 at the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City of natural cuases. Born Sept. 8, 18 in Parowan, Utah to James Abrose and Melissa Davenport Hyatt. Married Martin L. Skougard Dec. 12, 1919 in Parowan. He died. Married Fredrick Harrigan March 20, 1973 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Priscilla was a homemaker and a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by two brothers and four sisters; Glen Hyatt and Mrs. Grace Nowers both of Salt Lake City; Donald Hyatt of Washington, Ut., Mrs. LaReta Pendelton of Parowan; Mrs. Maude Rafay of Sacramento, Calif, and Mrs. Madge Young of Layton, Utah. Funeral Services were held Saturday, March 11, at 1:00 p.m. in the Parowan Second LDS Ward Chapel. The family prayer was offered of-fered by Wesley Blake with June M. Decker playing the prelude, postlude music and Bishop Glen Halterman conducting. Musical selections consisted con-sisted of a Ladies Trio, LaNean Kellogg, Ellen Adams and Andrea Harris singing "Sister, Thou Was Mild and Lovely" and "Rock of Ages", acc. by Itha Mortensen. The speaker was Howard Joseph with Herb Kincaid giving a Poem and remarks by Bishop Glen Halterman. The invocation was given by Jay Wamsley with Monte Lloyd giving the benediction and Gene Mortensen dedicating the grave. Interment was in the Parowan City Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. |
