Paul Whetman has been named assistant vice president and manager at Walker Bank's Cedar City office, as Walker Bank merged with the American Bank of Commerce at the close of business last Thursday. Whetman brings over 18 years of banking experience to his new assignment. His career with Walker Bank began in January, 1960. At the time of this appointment, he was assistant vice president and assistant manager of the bank's Midvale office. A Sandy native, he attended at-tended LDS Business College and has earned numerous credits in banking and related subjects from the American Institute of Banking. Active in civic and community com-munity affairs, Mr. Whetman Whet-man is past president of the , Midvale-Sandy Rotary Club. I He has also served as an ! advisor to several youth i organisations. . He and his wife, the for- ', mer Lois Ann Darby, have ; four children. They will reside in Cedar City. Other staff members include R. Kent Rhees, operations officer; Karen Dawson, loan officer; Janis j Frank, secretary; Hazel Bulloch, new accounts clerk; and tellers Leone Wade, Judy Davis, Ruth Seegmiller, Danice Bulloch, ; Jackie Hughes and Moana Edwards. j i Professionally he has served as second vice : president and member of the Board of Governors of the SL Chapter, Am.
