Show DWR conduct 'Open House' meetings The Cedar City office of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources will conduct an "open house" to be held on Tuesday, March 21 and again on Thursday, March 23 as part of National.. Wildlife Week activities. Both evenings will present programs on wildlife management from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Meetings will be held in the conference room at the Wildlife Resources office, 622 North Main Street, Cedar City. Activities scheduled for Tuesday, March 21 will include a special program on fisheries management in Southern Utah. This program will be conducted by Regional Fisheries Biologist, John Leppink. "It is anticipated that many Southern Utah fishermen should be interested in-terested in attending this program to learn about fish slocking plans for this spring as well as the affects of last fall's chemical treatments," DWR personnel said. The Thursday, March 23, program will center on game management in this part of the state. The evenings activities will be prepared by Floyd Coles, Regional Game Manager. "Both evenings present important opportunities to ask questions and learn about what is happening in wildlife management in Southern Utah," officials stated. "Everyone is welcome." |
