Show Happy Home-making Hints by Janet Weaver Salads are especially good for summer-time eating. For a welcome change you might want to try this delicious taste-treat! Fresh Apple-Chicken Salad 3 cups cooked diced chicken 3 apples, unpared, cored, and diced to measure 2 cups 3 tbs. lemon juice two thirds cup diced celery 3 hard cooked eggs, chopped slices of cranberry sauce 2 cup chopped almonds 3 tbs. chopped chives or parsley two thirds cup mayonnaise 1 tsp. sweet basil salt pepper 1 apple, unpared and sliced. Combine diced chicken and apple and sprinkle with lemon juice. Toss lightly, add celery, eggs, almonds, and chives. Blend mayonnaise mayon-naise and basil. Fold into apple-chicken mixture.
