Show Fathers and Sons Outing PAROWAN - The Parowan Third Ward will hold its Fathers and Sons Outing this Friday and Saturday, June 22 and 23, at the Panguitch Lake Campground. Since an , overnight campout will be part of the outing, campers are encouraged to arrive as early as possible on Friday, as campsites will be . on a first-come first-serve basis, with no advance reservations reser-vations allowed. Friday afternoon will be a free period. At 6:30 p.m., the group will meet at the Ted Burton cabin west of the Lake for a variety of activities ac-tivities for all ages. At 7:30 p.m. a dutch oven chicken dinner, prepared by experienced ex-perienced chefs Dewey Topham and Ted Burton, will be served. A movie will be shown after cleanup chores are done. Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. a hearty breakfast will be served at a central location in the campground area. Arrangements for the outing are in charge of the activities committee, Ted Burton, Chairman. They emphasize that all fathers, sons, and grandfathers (all ages) are urged to join the fun, and may participate in all or part of the outing as schedules will permit. Those planning to attend the meals should bring their own dishes, and contact either Ted Burton or Dewey Topham for meal reservations. |
