State Bank took an early lead in the contest with two runs htthe third. They added another in the .... sixth and one in the top of the three-run homer by Davie Smith to knot the game at 4-all. That was followed by a single by Nielson and he came on to score the winning run on a double by Slack. Smith and Nielson shared mound duties for the winners, Bulloch suffered the loss. Dale Corry pitched Del Rich to a 3-2 victory over Canyonland during the week. He gave up only two hits. The clubs were tied at 1-all 1-all at the end of five innings. Del Rich pushed in two in the top of the sixth and Canyonland came back with one, but it was not enough. D. W. Corry moved out of the cellar with a pair of wins during the week. They handed Parowarf a 15-7 set back Fridav nieht and Monday night Pryor and Munford shared mound duties to pick up the win. Jones and Corry were on for Del Rich. Corry had a big second inning pushing in. eight runs on four hits and added four runs on one hit in the third. Del Rich scored in each inning but could not combine their efforts ef-forts for enough runs to pick up the win. In other action Canyonland relied on four hits and 12 walks to score a 7-3 win over Parowan. Soderquist picked up the mound victory. Bess and Neil were on the mound -for Parowan. Canyonland pushed in three runs in the third frame on one hit and five walks. This week's Results: State Bank 9, Parowan 2 TWA 6, Canyonland 3 Ace Hardware 11, Utah Int 1 CalPac5,StateBank4 Del Rich 3, Canyonland 2 Corry 15, Parowan 7 Corry 12, Del Rich 11 Canyonland 7, Parowan 3 came back Monday to score a slim 12-11 victory over Del Rich. Against Parowan Imlay went the distance and Kingford and Imlay each collected doubles. Thornton and Bess shared mound duties for the losers. seventh to hold a 4-1 edge.
