Show Jessie Albertson, Active Church Worker dies Hall of Citrus Heights, Calif.; Edith Taylor, Melba Stoddard and Claudia Johnson all of Ogden, and Mable Miller of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1 at 1 p.m. in the Cedar Eighth LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from ' 11:30 to 12:30 at the Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary Mor-tuary in Cedar City. In- -terment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery. i . i JFSSIE ALBERTSON j Jessie Lou Hall Albertson 87, died May 27, 1979 in the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City. Born October 28, 1891 in Mount Willing, Alabama to Lewis M. and Sarah Day Hall. Married Albert Albertson June 16, 1920 in the Manti Temple. He died July 23, 1966. Attended Massey's Business College in Montgomery, Alabama. Charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary : at Salina, and received her : 40 year pin in 1968. Active : Red Cross worker during j World War I; served as a nurses aide during World : War II and was a Gold Star Mother. Served a mission for the LDS Church in Tennessee in 1915 and 1916. Served as counselor in the Mutual , Improvement Association in the Stake and Ward. Served on the Stake Board of Relief Society and Sunday School; served as class leader and teacher in Sunday School, Relief Society and the Primary association. Was a relief society visiting teacher for many years. |
