Show U ' Of ti f .-mm- , . , . HEADS CAMPAIGN. Ralph Hafen, shown here with his wife, has been named director of the Iron County March of Dimes John Froyd. Ralph Hafen heads March-of-Dimes drive Ralph Hafen has been named director of the 1978 March of Dimes campaign for prevention of birth defects in Iron County. He replaces John Froyd who has served in this position for the past six years. Mr. Hafen announces that the drive will take place in January. Under his leadership, several activities ac-tivities are being scheduled for the voluntary health organization, whose goal is to protect the unborn and the newborn. Featuring the drive in this area will be the 28th annual door-to-door Mothers March on Birth Devectrs on January 17-19. "Every community, including in-cluding ours, is affected by birth defects. Throughout the country, more than 250,000 babies are afflected each year," Mr. Hafen says. "Because Birth Defects consititute the nation's most acute child health problem, we need not only money but volunteers to put our campaign across. We ask those who want to help to phone us at 586-3787." |
