Mr. and Mrs. Dee Conder of Magna arrived here Friday to spend the weekend with Lucile's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Robinson. Bishop and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham hosted a holiday family dinner at the Ward Cultural Hall Thursday for all available members of Bishop Topham's familv. Their sons Kenneth Jr. and Lynn Kay came from Sandy and San Bernardino, Calif, for several days visit and all of the brothers and sisters were together. This included Mr. and Mrs. Fred Topham their son, Dewey, and his family of Parowan, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Topham, Mr. , and Mrs. McLean Simkins, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Dodge, Deral and Sterling Simkins of Cedar City and the Gordon Topham family from Wide Hollow, near Escalante. Their group numbered 33. Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot were in Parowan for a holiday dinner with the Steve Adams family. Mrs. Leona Stones had all of her family here with her for dinner on Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Milo Stones, Donna and Tom were here from Ogden for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Mario Stones and Brenda, Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Green and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Adams" and family all came from Cedar. The Blair Mitchells The Thanksgiving holiday was the occasion for much traveling, family dinners and many visitors to town. Mrs. Hannah Robinson and daughter, Ada, had all available members of the Joe Lamoreaux family with them for Thursday dinner. I Mr. and Mrs. Robin j Lamoreaux and children came from Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Benson, Julie and Joey came from Beaver and Mrs. Joan Mortensen, sons Russell and Gordon and Miss Leslie Mitchell came from Parowan. Other family members came to visit later and on following days. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Thornton traveled to Caliente to spend Thanksgiving with Kristine's people. Mrs. Erma Lamoreaux traveled north Wednesday to spend the holidays with the Clyde Lamoreaux family in Salt Lake City and the Donald Burtons in Layton. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton traveled to Ogden Wednesday to spend the holiday with their sons Gerry and his family. They returned home Friday. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson had many of their family with them for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Low and family members came from Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Kimmy Anderson and most of theirs were here from Kanab. Miss Laura Barton was home from Provo for the holidays with the Joseph E. Bartons. The Ronald Johnsons of Parowan joined the family here. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Inglesby of Salt Lake City were holiday visitors here with Annette's mother, Mrs. Emma Dalton. All were to Cedar City Thursday to be together at the John Dalton home. Saturday the Daltons and the Alan Stubbs family of Parowan joined them here for a second Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Elma Robinson and most of their family of Orem came to spend the holiday with the Chester Robinson and Dole Robinson families. Thur- . sday the entire group traveled to Cedar City for dinner with the Ralph Edwards Ed-wards family. Mr. and Mrs. Willie Bladh of Whittier, Calif, were in town Friday to visit friends. The Bladh's are former Paragonah residents. Mr. and Mrs. David Pack and two children of Salt Lake City arrived here Wednesday for a holiday visit with Claudia's- people, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Jones and boys arrived here from Fredonia Friday and the Claude Jones family joined were here from Washington and the Alan Stones family came from Parowan. A jolly time was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. Burgess Robinson and family of Salt Lake City visited here on Wed. with Burgess parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson. They went on to St. George to spend Thanksgiving with Geris people and were back in Paragonah for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Tavish MacGreggor and Antone Christiansen who are all students at BYU were here to spend the holday with grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lagrand Robb. Bob Talbot was home from Denver to spend the holiday with his wife and daughter. Mrs. Bertha Topham had all available members of her family with her during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Berrie and family came from Kearns on Wed. and were here until Sun. Holiday dinner was served on Friday when the Ivan Tophams and Lenoir Topham families came from Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Topham and Tim came from Delta and the Richard Chamberlains came from Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wyatt left for Calif, on Tues. of last week to spend the holiday with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Topham had their entire family together for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Topham and new baby arrived on Wed. to stay until Sun. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Topham and children came from Taylorsville, the Gale Roberts family and gale's mother came from Cedar and the Sam Cutlers joined them. Mrs. Norma Topham. accompanied Leslie and his family home on Sun. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson were happy to have their daughters Holly and Wendy and the latter's husband Val Simmons all of Logan here with them for the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Robinson traveled to Pocatello, Idaho for the weekend. They took D Anne's An-ne's mother with them. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dunton spent a couple of days in Cedar last week visiting with their daughters Sue and Connie and the latter's husband John Lawrence. |
