Show SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport Ward members traveled to the mountains Saturday to celebrate Pioneer Day, where dinner and games were enjoyed. en-joyed. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Whicker Whick-er of Fillmore were here from Friday until Sunday to visit with their son, Fred, and family fam-ily and were joined here on the 21th by another son, Ross who is attending school act SUSC Mrs. Frank Dalley and son Eugene were in Salt Lake City Friday and Saturday .where they visited at the home of President and Mrs. (Walter Bills. Picsirient Bills I was president of the Japan I LDS Mission where Eugene was a missionary. They were guests at the home of Gardi-j Gardi-j ner Dalley while in the city. ! Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Hum-! Hum-! phreys had all of their family j together last week prior to their daughter Patricia, her 'husband Kent Larkin and 1 little daughter Corey leaving i for Taiwan. The Larkin came from Provo where Mr. Larkin i recently graduated from the ; Bngham Young University, j Mr. and Mrs. Kent Humphreys ' and two children were here from Cedar City and Mr. and , Mrs. Keith Humphreys frrrm ! Mrs. Arden Richards and I Mrs. Harold Smith traveled j to Greenville one day last j week to visit with their daughter daugh-ter and , grand-daughter and I family, the Ricke Edwards. Parowan. Completing the family fam-ily circle here were Lori and Mark and Mr ;and Mrs. Denny Woodard and two daughters. The Larkins left Saturday by plane for Los Angeles to 8pend several days visiting there before going on to Honolulu, Hon-olulu, Hawaii, where they will visit with Mrs. Larkin's friend, Mrs. Grimshaw Ayer and family. fam-ily. From there they will go to Tokyo, Japan for a little sight-seeing and will arrive at their destination of Tai Pel, Taiwan July 31 where Mr. Larkin will teaoh school for the next two years. Mr. and Mrs. Denny Wood-ari Wood-ari and family welcomed friends. fri-ends. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Michaels of Bridgeport, Nebraska, Ne-braska, for a visit at their home here last week. |
